My Selfishness

The universe lost an amazing man this weekend and the heaven’s gained an angel. I am blessed to have been in his presence and shared many laughs. My heart grieves out of selfishness that I yearn for more treasured moments with him. One more trip to the beach, one more BBQ, one more gathering of friends and memories.

He truly was one of the real good men that were placed on this earth, and an example of kindness and love.

His passing has made a huge impact on my life since we said our final “see ya later” this weekend. I need to give and love more, forgive always and complain less.

When you are born, you are crying and everyone else around you is smiling. Live your life so that when you die,  you’re the one smiling and everyone else around you is crying.
